I hung a 110 amp alternator off a Fairmont / Fairlane on mine, $46 from pickapart - need to take the plug as well - splice the plug to the Samurai low-current wiring, replace the output wire with something heavier and put a circuit breaker in place of the fusible link. On a 16A the standard bracket almost fits perfectly, there's a little bit of grinding on the bracket and the adjuster arm and you need a slightly longer belt. I'd hope the 16B block isn't much different. Assuming you've got v-belt pullies your home and hosed (I swapped the vitara alternator pulley, but you can use the ford one). There's a number of writeups on the net, I've "archived" a few into a word doc, PM or post an email address and I' can send you a copy - might even finish my own write-up (I never seem to finish that bit of the job...). well worth doing. cheers, Terry
