An air locker comes with it's own "carrier" a "lock right" does not, you fit it to your existing carrier. I am un-sure if you can fit a lock right type to a LSD carrier, but if you find you cannot, I have a D44 open carrier if you need it.
You also may not be aware, that when you do replace the carrier, you will need to "re-shim" for the correct backlash.
Bernie.
