Nissin Safari ( Surging)

Nissin Safari TD42 None Turbo.
Has anyone had Surging when cruising at 1100 RPM .50KM/H. Top gear only, No other speed or rev's. I have been told it happens in other Nissin's. Is there a fix for this?

mine some times surges at idle, try changing the fuel filter .

You didn`t put any of that kero based fuel treatment into your tank did you?

it could be your injectors

iv got a mate that had the same prob mostley at 100kph and a heap of black smoke blowing.

Apart from the serging, the motor run spot on. No black smoke, clean running pipe, etc

happend to my dads a while back.but this was a 96 terrano with the qd32 engine.would surge and sometimes completely stall randomly.engine check light would also come on and off.was very expensive to fix.

this is what happened to ours but could be something totaly different in your case.

I would look at the fuel filter first and get the injector timing checked, or if that doesnt work get the injectors serviced they might need some new nozzles to get a good fine spray pattern.

Also put some deisel treatment in the tank just in case ther is some diesel bug in there.
