91 pajeo handbrake

Ok so my handbrake on my pajero is crap!!! When I first brought it the handbrake was awesome, then I went offroading and it went shit so I adjusted the cables which made it good again then went offroad again and the same thing happened!! Any of you other pajero owners have this problem? How do you get around it?

Im guessing that it is stretching the cables on heavy articulation??

I have 32" tyres and 2" suspension lift.

Yeah, I got the same problem - just seems to go through handbrake shoes like there's no tomorrow. I just keep adjusting the star-wheels...

yea, its a fact of life - they wear down pretty quick. mine gets adjusted every 6 months.....

They wear down to a level where they are not tight any more and need the full travel to work but they continue to work, just 'clearanced'!
