Ray's Bighorn

Post by FORGE1 »

Well starting to do some mods and have no plans on selling so thought I might start a page on here. Purchased stock standard about 1 year ago with 276kms on the clock.

So its a 1995 Isuzu Bighorn RS

Current Mods:
32x11.5 Mudstars, 15x8.5 alloys, Exceedy H/D Clutch, Exhaust, Suspension Lift.

Future Mods:
Custom Front & Rear bar, winch, Solid axle front end, lockers, and anything else I can think of.

Depending on what I break first is to what mod will be next. Fingers crossed it a front diff I break next :)

new tyres fitted

Will need to do a body lift to keep the rear flexing as it rubs quite bad but lucky with the front I just need to trim the bumper

Nice. Time to try that bog again, not that you need any encouragement...

Looking good 8)
Let me know when you're going to be down Woodhill way again. Keen to follow or lead around some of the best tracks there.
Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Cheers guys,

Definately wanting to get to woodhill before then end of the year as there is a bog/hill that I need to get up haha.

I just need to see if I can trim the rear inner guards and see if that will help prevent a body lift as it wont fit in my carport otherwise and the wife isnt happy that I will need to sink more $$ into at this stage but I will chip away at it slowly and next will probably be a body lift as its only $160 on trademe.

What will need to be done for a body lift?

Cheers mate, yeah its looking better. Yip I will come out to the farm next time will be a slow trip on the tyres through the windy road but I will be there.

I have taken the snorkel off though until I get my new guard from Roger (Jeep 4wd Park guy) and will only cut 1 hole as appose to a big chunk of it.

Yeah I Al told me that your torque converter packed up or something along those lines, thats not good and probably another weekend under it, correct? lol

Yeah torque converter or something in the auto. Just more hours working on it  . It makes it easier with a hoist though.
