Hey guys new to the site here and new to the 4wd scene too. Not too sure if im posting this in the right place, it made sense to me though.haha

So what iv got is a 94 Surf, 1kz, body got high ks, but engine done under 150ks, seems to be pretty reliable and its got some good power there. taken it out a couple of times to the waimak, which resulted in broken diff, and broken cv.lol

What iv done so far, 2" rear spring lift, with some 2" longer gabriel blue ryder rear shocks, torsion crank(new bolts and locknut due to old ones stripping, had some shorter bumpstops made up, and put two bushes ontop of front shocks to get a lil more down travel with the shock, cant afford new fronts yet.
75mm bodylift
35inch mud tyers
front diff locked.
standard open wheel rear diff

So basically just wondering apart from new front shocks
diff locker for the rear
diff breathers
and SAS, which is definatly a while a way yet
has anyone got anymore advise or little tricks that i can do to my truck?
And what sort of 4x4 clubs are there in canterbury who i could sign up with?

Welcome aboard, The seach function is very handy on this site regarding what your asking. There are a few clubs around Christchurch depending on the trips your interested in.
Your busted diff and cvs may be the cause of what yove done to the torsion bars, bump stops and shockes because of the angles of the cvs, otherwise you may need to adjust your driving style to stop breaking stuff, Normally having a locker in the front helps stop breaking things because you dont need to push it as hard. :D

yeah im gona put it down to my driving style atm, cos when i broke the diff i was changing from drive into reverse too quickly im thinking, and when i broke the cv, (locked diff this time) i had my foot hard on it with left front wheel on ground and right front wheel in air.
amateur mistake.lol

Put the locker in the rear and you won't break CV's as regularly, the rear axle is the stronger axle, so can handle the extra load placed on it by the locker :D :D :D :D
