couple of questions
1.Just wondering if the 40 series air locker Ive got will bolt onto the ring gear from my 80 series lsd diff head?
2.Ive been meaning to put the locker into my original 70 series diff head, but I was also wondering if the 70 series diff head will bolt into the 80 series housing?
I havent had time to pull the 80 series diff head out to compare the two an I need two cruiser semi floater cross pins to repair my locker before its usable anyway

yep it will fit as long as they are both rears ( thou the early 70 fronts were the same too).might be interested in your lsd carrier if you want to move it on

Cheers for the reply. Could be interested, lots of stuff to do before I look at the diff yet just pondering a few options at this stage

the rear lsd sucked last weekend
Another thing I havent looked at yet was wether the carrier bearings for the locker are the same/interchangeable as when I took it to brian he said it had the smaller carrier bearings (its an early roberts/ARB air locker)
On another note; do ya still want the mr2 rear brake set up?

Try looking here:
http://www.arb.com.au/media/products/air-lockers/application_chart.pdf if they have the same model number for both it is interchangeable.

80 front run the same as hilux rear, 8 inch...... same as some prados etc etc
"cruisers" as in 70/40 etc are all 9 inch rear.
