WTB: 4wd otago area

Hi there,

Firstly really have enjoyed reading round the site!

I've been trolling the forums reading and learning, and also have been out driving a few different vehicles.

Just wondering what is out there in the Otago area (I'm in Dunedin).

Price Range: up to 4.5k

Used For: Mainly daily driving, but needs to be able to tow loads of firewood, light 4wd use, and all round 'usefulness' ie. getting bout the place to acquire said firewood.

I have owned a 2.4td surf before, and had farm hacks on the farm (not mine).

Not too fussed if its diesel or petrol.

Have been looking at a '90 4runner (22R), 91 Mu (4JB1) or potentially a bighorn.

been reading the forums so I understand pros and cons for most of the models I'm looking at. Would still be interested to hear opinions on these, and also if anyone knows of anything going.....

d21 both around 280000kms, both td27t
both manual. new wofs
trying to sell one
wanting around the 3500 mark

my mates also trying to sell his pajero its a lwb 93 i think
has custom made mounting for a winch (no winch with truck tho)
is auto. tows great. v6 3.0l petrol
wants around 3-3500. tidy interior and exterior for age
