Terrano CV Joints & Axles

Post by spankmeister »

Guys,

I am looking at buying a 2nd hand axle and CV joint, so I can swap it out one side at a time, thus giving me more time to do the CV boots etc. The joint and axle I am looking at is out of a 94 Terrano. Will it fit into my 93? Is it the same axle etc. Cheers

The axles are the same as are the outer CV joints. I have a 94 V6 widebody and my inner joints are totally different from run of the mill. Insted of spider assembly, my inner is the same type as outer, rezeppo or something like that. Found it hard , actually impossible to find second hand innner the same. Axles are identical though. the outer CV will be 27 spline in the cv itself for both 27 and 28 spline stub axles on them.

Yep, my mechanic rings me for advice on terranos now  Know stuff all about the engine though, not a mechanic. Can fix your bones though.
