g16a in sammy without conversion kit INFO

Just finished my g16a sammy conversion. I didnt used the kit to do the conversion and it all went to plan. here are the things i needed. Might help someone with the same plan in mind.

g16a 8 valve carb motor
samurai engine mounts
samurai housing bolts
samurai clutch kit/flywheel
samurai starter motor
g16a alternator (i modified the samurai one)

All i needed to fabricate was two long spacers with a few brackets to mate up the bottom gearbox housing. also had to fabricate a new engine mount bracket for the drivers side. Also i had to grind a small amount of the side to get it in flush. Use the g16a alternator if youve got one "i just changed the the pully on the samurai one.

Theres not alot of info on the net for this conversion. Most of the info is from people who do a half assed job for and offroad only truck. It was alot easier than every one makes out. Just took a bit of thought and enginuity. Every thing lines up exactly were it should and it runs great on and off road
