Simex, Silverstone, Beadlocks, axle, and truck weights.

Post by churchill »

I'm after the weight of some of the following items if anyone could help me:

Cruiser or hilux front beam axle hub to hub with brakes.
Cruiser or hilux rear beam axle hub to hub with brakes.
15x10 steel rim with beadlocks.
35" Simex extreme trecker of Silverstone MT117 Extreme tyres.
Overall weight of a trials truck C-class or D-class.

They dont have to be overly accurate so off the top of your head will do for now.

I think from memory the hilux front diff is 140kgs, the cruiser about 160kgs, cruiser rear 140kgs and 35simex 35kg per tyre with rim.
These may not be exact figues but are close. :D

Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Brilliant guys, thats bang on what I need. I'm keen to head out with some weigh scales not this weekend but the following one mudlva if you don't mind.

I thought the trials trucks would be lighter for some reason, must be too used to race cars.

Need to start using carbon fiber for chassis!!

Thanks
