im no good with numbers but 320kw at the wheels would be how much at the crank?? which is probably more than the plate says...

yip fair enough I was more getting at the fact it only made 290kw at the wheels was not sure if this was the first dyno reading he's done or if somethings gone wrong since last time?

but yea 400 with a 30 percent loss for drive train would be 280 so I was just stiring

However to get a 400kw club sticker it needs to be at the wheels :D

(ps. yes I am jealous, (I couldn't even afford the tyres) very cool car Pete, look forward to the improvements)

They say, what ever the motor puts out at the flywheel or how it's badged? Take away 25% off that and that's what you'll get at the wheels.

Stock, the Chevy LS2 6L motor in my VX is 307kW, "at the flywheel". (stock the VX came out with a LS1 255kW motor).
So with cold air induction, headers and cam plus a port matched heads, 400kW (550hp)"at the fly wheel" should be easily done.

So yeah wopass. 320kW at the bags should be well over 400kW at the flywheel. But the way it's been running I know it has more than the current 280kW at the wheels.

The plate was never stating what's at the wheels. Same as all the 185kW, 255kW, 307kW badges on V8 Holdens. It's never measured and badged from what's at the wheels.

Roll on Saturday.

All good.
I get shit having the 400KWS plate on the car. Hell I got shit for getting the 300KWS one.
But sometime it's stops the boy racers giving me a go. Most of the time they don't bother, they just egg me on to smoke the wheels. It's the, "worked" skylines that give me a go. And I don't bother, coz they smoke me, I like to watch them launch with all four wheel going hard.
