Noob with a Terrano

Hey there!
I've been lurking around on this site for a while now and finally deceided to join and introduce myself. I'm from Napier in the now again finally sunny Hawke's Bay, but won't be for long. I will be starting my new job in Christchurch on the 19th 0f September (2 weeks) so will be down those ways shortly, hence the reason I thought I'd join up as I don't know a single soul in the south island and I reckon this could be a good way for me to meet some people. I ownd a 3 door VG30 Terrano in the past and loved it, slapped some 31x10.5 Radial ATX 23 degrees tyres on it (think that's what where, correct me if I'm wrong) and man was it fun in mud, did play around a little bit with it at rivers on the beach etc. and didn't manage to get myself stuck yet lol. had to sell that though. But I have recently purchased another VG30 terrano 5dr model this time though and looking to lift it a little and will most probably settle for some 31" tyres again, when time and funds allow. no plans on doing anything to extreme, because it is also my daily driver, but would like to get out there and give it a good go!!
Any ideas on clubs around the Shakey town area would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Alfred
