OK,so every 5K the oil gets changed, according to common wisdom.I was wondering if just doing work on the sealed roads, with no towing.Would it be OK to change the twin oil filters every 2nd oil change.Or 10K.

Most people I know with Safari's do their filters every 2nd change, mainly because it costs so much for 10+ litres of oil and 2 filters
I do mine every 5k, but if doing longer road miles, like a trip round the sth island, I do the filters at 10k

Beuwdie DaveM.Costs me $30 for 2 filters. So theres a saving. Also have magFilters under the oil filters.Catch`s any ferrous matter to a low micron level.Or so the label says.Does work though.1st time I changed the oil filters with the Magnets on,I cut open the oil filters.Had a noticable amount of ferro particles attactched.Less each time thereafter each change.Could visually detect nil ferro after 4th oil filter change.$50 per magfilter.Happy with that purchase.

I usually wait until SuperCheap have their 25% off sale, and stock up on oil, and filters.
Mine uses a 115, and 406(?) which is the expensive bypass filter
