Dunedin Winch Challenge + Sheffield Mud Plug?

Anyone doing these 3 Challenges this week/weekend??
-Dunedin's Friday Night Winch Challenge.
-Dunedin's Saturday Winch Challenge.
-Sheffield's Sunday Mud plug.
??
There's a few of us here that are. But most are leaving Christchurch Friday morning/midday to head to Dunedin.
Ash and I are leaving Christchurch 3.30pm hoping we'll get down there before the night stages start.
It's looking like an AWESOME end of week/weekend for 4X4 events!!!!!

Im naving for winch challenge. Cant wait
set out a few courses in weekend the rain should make them more interesting.

have fun pete, nothing for me this weekend, i'm tied up sat looking after the kids as the mrs is on a course.....and heading big time south sunday to pick up parts for the next project.

What an awesome event that was down in Dunedin yesterday!!
15 trucks, 12 hazards, lots of winching, lots of people breaking stuff, lots of people having so much fun at the same time. Epic event!
Big thanks to the marshals and organizers. Was the first time for me down there. What a course.
I'll upload pix n vids in the next few days.
Due to family stuff I'm unable to make it to Sheffield today. (family more important)
I was lucky to do Dunedin's winch challenge. But I've loaned my co driver Ash the buggy for Sheffield. He did such a good job yesterday. Without his effort we wouldn't have come 3rd in our class.
So Ash? Do me proud today mate. Most of all, HAVE FUN!

Hay pete i think u may have lost ur buggy,
ash was diving it soo well, i think he likes it. i wasnt quick enuff to get a shot of it planning alone the river stage. it did look like it was nose up an about to start planning like a boat

Nah. More like he found it than me loosing it.
He did so well co driving for me Saturday in Dunedin. Me being out of action Sunday I thought he'd like to have a go. I'm sure that's going to give him the inspiration to get his project finished (not that he needs any). Was good to hear he enjoyed it. I think if water didn't get in the dizzys on one stage giving him a dnf? He would of done better than 4th.

We entered the winch challenge in he weekend ,and had a ball ,what a excellent weekend. Big thanks to the organisers and the marschalls for a well run ,fun weekend.
