A little bird tells me theresome mussels down there (TBH all I know is somewhere)

Am going to head down tomorrow after High Tide which is at 11:38am if your out and about don't be shy to say Hi.

Silver Mitsi Challenger, Plate FWR---.

Haven't been very far before, and was a while ago. Is there anything out that way to be watchful for.
Hopefully will get down to the river.

sometimes you can drive right to the river and even up the river for some considerable distance, sometimes you sink in quick sand halfway along the beach. its different everyday. there is an route through the sand dunes parallel to the beach,which is a legal road, but there is also a area that council are trying to keep vehicles off and local bylaws provide for fines for anyone caught driving in those areas.
check the walking access website for details and stay on the "road" or beach. Don't enter the forest with out permission. we can arrange for you to get in to the forest at some stage with out a problem, but if you are caught in there with out permission, they will get very upset.

been down there heaps, cant say ive seen any mussels. safe as realy, unless its a big tide, plenty of beach between the water and the dunes

Am just going for a wander now, apparently this mussel rock is only accessable at a dead low, unless you really want to go swimming. At least the dog will get a run!
