Hey guys iv been following this website for some time and decided to introduce myself, im Paul i live up in Whangarei and are new to the seen of 4X4n which started as something to do every now and then to planning full modifications for the old girl, i installed new shocks all around her and slight lift springs to make little bit more room for the 31s, am in process of sources top roof tray and fabricating a ARB look alike front winch bar. As always this is slow work in progress but ill try my best to keep up to date with progress. It currently is off the road due to receiving green sticker while heading home from 4x4n in the weekend, i had not yet find flares i liked and as a result the tyres stick out to far..good excuse to convience the missus to let me spend money on it 8)

bugger on the green sticker, the flexy rubber flares aren't cheap, got bunnings garden egding on mine but going to change to convayor belt rubber which is softer, you should have bulk rubber supppier up north there

Don't use that garden edging on your Terrano, it's too stiff and will make a mess of your guards.
Save some dosh and get some decent rubber flares.

Oh, and welcome to the site.

ok thanks for the info guys, i have some quite flexy conveyor rubber around 5mm thick, was thicking of stripping that only problem is at the moment im still suffering from poor ride height with the 31s in the front (turn hard lock and slight bump and it rubs) so i have the remove the small black plastic standard flares that you can see on it now so i dont lose any more room adding rubber flares to it. but by removing those i still dont have a nice flat edge to work with.
