hey there i have ln106 double cb solid axl hilux,
problem is i have about a 4 - 6 inch lift, shakles and leaf springs
steering arm drag link hits on rear drivers side u bolt, i cant afford nor do i see a major benefit in goin hi steer/crossover at this point in time, what have other people done to fix this problem?
i am leaning towards bending steering arm with heat then getting crack tested, or making another drag link with drop don/bend in it using factory link ends and re threading them to attach to my newly made piece
any opinion or help will be considered so feel free to say anything
cheers vince

Re: LN106 STEERING HELP NEEDED

that drop link is pretty darn expnsive. . . . .
i think i may just have to make one for now till i need to afford a hi steer swap, kind of need my truck on the road again asap, and cant see myself "NEEDING" it at present but thanks for the help guys
and no i dont beilieve flat u bolts will give enough clearance, sitting flat they rear u bolt just gets touched b the drag link and when flexed it completeley stops the drag link

Bit cheaper from across the ditch, last time i got one they dropped the GST making it even cheaper. Didn't end up using it mind you
