So iv been a member on here for a wee wile now and thought i may aswell intruduce myself
Im Ben a toolmaker from chch, no i do not make hammers and nut f**kers i make injection mould tools for a plastics company here in town programing and running cnc mills.
Anywho i got into 4x4 a cuple of years ago after purchasing a 94 kzn130 surf as a tow wagon and after testing the 4wd to see if it all worked fine i was hooked.

As you can see in pic I eventualy did the usual 2+2 lift and 33's but got sick of bending idler arms everytime i came within 10m of a small bump so i seen the light! i sold it and got a 84 fj40! all standard apart from my 33's i kept from my surf and a tjm winch bar that came with it

So thats me cheers.

Cheers for that ill have to come up and do that sometime and ill put some more pics up when i get them off the camera. atm i dont have big plans as its my daily but a winch and a locker will do me fine i think and it already has disks up front and lsd at back and running lpg means the gas bill for the 2f insnt that bad however i have a 1kz-te sitting in the garage and with a mechanical pump and a r151 from a kzj70/78 it could just work in the 40

Theres a winch in Dunners for sale that might suit for bugger all...
