The bolts on my recovery hook are labelled A2 80. Are these high tensile and strong enough.

Cheers

Nick

A2-80 Stainless Steel Bolt.

A = Austenitic Steel
2 = Chemical composition of steel
80 = Ultimate tensile strength of at least 800Nm/mm, yield strength 600Nm/mm

Grade 8.8 carbon steel bolt has a ultimate tensile strength of 800Nm/mm, yield strength 600Nm/mm

So your A2-80 bolts are just as strong as 8.8 carbon steel ones...
