70 series landcruiser caliper question

Post by rolla4wd »

hey guys

I brought a 70 series diff and disc brake setup to go in my fj40
the pistons are seized in the caliper after hours and hours spent on one caliper making up air connections etc got 3 pistons out but the last one (as usual) the the top ring that the seal seats over snaped off about 15mm. So I left it in the vice and walked away :x is there other toyotas that have the same calipers??

thanks

Lots according to toyodiy.com

Look at this search result, based on the 4 pot KZJ78 I have...
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/xref?s=477 ... 0%09&mG=on

Click on the link for the Cruisers and you get heaps of models...
Also the boys at Don Kyatt would know too.....
