Offroad-Express

Hi all,
I'm from Auckland and have a 1998 Nissan Terrano (QD3.2, auto). I don't do any hardcore 4x4 but use my beast for the typical beach/gravel/snow off road driving. Had it in a flood with the water up near the door handles and it handled the jandle!!

So to save costs i'm going to change the outer CV boots and have posted in the Nissan forum to clear up a few question i have around doing this job, but if anyone has any advise i would be keen to listen.

Also trying to solve a trans issue and again i have started a thread describing my problem and some research i have been doing to sort this.

Will also be changing out the Upper and Lower trailing arm bushes to get rid of the death wobble. My Terrano hasn't got the "death" part just a bit of a wobble in the bum...

Anyway that's me....

Hi Mate.
To do the rear trailing arm bushes you had better have access to a big press. Last ones I did, took a 60 tonne electric hydraulic press to get the little basteeds out or have a raging fire on hand
Rear end wobble is normally the panhard rod bushes.

Cheers! Talked to the shock shop and they quoted $10-15 per arm to press out old bushes and install new bushes. Guy reckon he has done a few and he needs all 20T to do the job and they make a real 'POP' when they come out. He was pretty helpful and recommended make and type of bushes to buy.
