i have a 1991 grand road lwb want to put in duel front shocks been to experts but they sAY NO WAY TO DO IT BUT I RECON SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW A WAY TO DO IT SO FAR SPOKE TO EFS, RANCHO , EMU, IS THERE ANY ONE ELSE TO TRY?

May I ask why you want to run duals?
You may want to get the shocks revalved to suit, as it may be a harsh ride.

BUT IM EITHER 4 FT IN THE AIR OR BUIRIED IN MUD SO NEED GOOD SUSPENTION TO COPE WITH IT AS GETTING RATHER EXPENCIVE REPLACING THE FRONT END BREAK SHIT ALL THE TIME

Just watch for those front diff housings, they are well known to bend.

On the shocks, get in touch with G.Guy Motors, he runs dual shocks on the front of is SWB comp GQ.

Hook up with the buller 4x4 club if you haven't already, awesome group of people and local knowledge like you wouldn't belive. Look for the MWB cruiser or white Hilux parked down Gladstone St, thats the club captain Peter Skilton (Skilly)

Mitch, Justin and Troy all run dual shock setups on the front of their Nissans, and they're all custom built setups. Grant Guy in Wellington is the closest to you I know of that has done that sort of thing before.

yup diesel it is the same place he in aussie now . i know skilly already johny ray is an awsome guy heaps of info and help havnt joined yet but planning to . been on a couple of trips with them already and hopeing to have me truck ready for the reefton winch challenge nxt year

panhard rods . stearing arms mainly they r too flimsy so got to get beafed up ones. also blown me shocks with last jump not sure about spring rating but bought it with 6 inch lift so they r heavier than usual. just a little flatter now

Panhards and steering arms will bend if your jumping it like that,
You will want to laminate you diff housing aswell you will bend that to, that if it isnt bent already. If your front end looks like it has a bit of negative camber you probly already have.

The Safari is one of the heaviest built trucks around and if your breaking stuff on it, well, you just shouldn't be!!!!!!!

helll im jsts nuts and full on everything i do is extreem has been 4 abt 2 yrs but thats another story so surfice to say i have allot of fun and if me toys break i try to make them stronger so they dont if u do get down this way cum visit and u will understand lmao or jst ask johnny ray lol
