Hi

I have a BJ73 with a 3B in it and have a problem with the Electrics.
Truck is ok until I put it into 4X4- then the engine fuse blows. Either via the dash button for H4 or the transfer case lever for L4. I have metered the transfer case solenoids and they seem ok. I Cant fine the Transfer Case Relay. Does anyone know where this is in a BJ73?

Of Course this happened in Westport on a Club trip, 100 meters into the first track.:(

I was able to drive it home so that was some small comfort though..

Thanks

Hi

Thanks for that. It is in the foot well on the LH side of the steering wheel.

I seem to have sorted my issues and I suspect they were earthing issues with the radio/turbo timer....

I will keep a check on things will go looking again if it comes back..

the same thing happened to my mates truck,85 Toyota Bundera with VN V6 , found it was a wire that had rubbed through somewhere, call or txt Mike on 0273890919 and say Greg put you onto him about going through fuses when selecting 4wd
