Hi All

Lived in Wellington all my life, and always wanted to drive the south coast over Devils Gate? (hells gate?) so purchased an 03 Range Rover about a month ago.

Apart from a few issues with the Air suspension its driving sweet, but I'm after a bit of advice on how to get started.

CCVC sounds like a good place on a 'Family Shiny' but I'm a little concerned the vehicle is not up to it, so want to have a go at some basic stuff before going on an organised trip and holding them all up!

The major thing I'm worried about is that it is on 22's with Road tyres (Hancooks) will I be able to get around the South coast on them? Saw a picture of MYROVA (disc 4) with what appeared to be road tyres going over there on these forums, but do I need to change up the wheels and tyres? or will they do to start with? Can you get decent tyres on 22's? or do need to get the Original 19's or 20's?

Also, I'm a little confused what is meant by a 'Clean Up' trip as advertised on the site... interested in the Terewhiti one this weekend.

Cheers

David

I would very strongly suggest that you pop into see Marty at Wgtn Tow Bars on Wakefeild Street. He knows all about the CCVC trip and the club. He can also help you out with all the other questions you have.

Don't ask the other fella there
