Hi there guys,

I have a 70 series cruiser and love the old girl to bits, but it has a 3b and a set of 33's. I also have a jetboat and its got a 350 chev and weighs a bit. With the boat on the back it slows the ol cruiser right down. Was wondering if i should bolt a turbo on the side of the 3b.Will it make that much difference? is it a big job? how reliable is it after it has a turbo on it? big ends etc? or should i just part with it a get a 4.2 6 cylinder? wat do you guys reckon??

Cheers

Agreed, more power more reliable and will bolt straight in. The old 3bs were prone to cracking heads and a turbo on the side will just speed up the process. :D

we've put a ct26 on the side off our 3b cruiser and have never had any issues. Truck has done over 100 000ks with it on.(motor has done over 400).
Trick is keep it at standard boost and make sure you kep the serviceing upto it.

Really transforms the truck but don't expect it to be a rocket ship.
