Hey guys, Names Blake. Im new to the 4wd scene but have a good mate whos mad and has got me into it. Ive sold some other toys and want to Buy a Sj413 zook for a project. Only ones that seem to be on trademe are from mudbits and are asking a small fortune. Anyone know of any floating around? preferably after a hardtop with live plates.

I have a soft top with live plates if your interested???











Twin ARB lockers, power steering, OME suspension, 31" tyres, Toyota Twin cam EFI 1600 motor, Rocker hopper transfer case, cage, race seats, harnesses, all sorts of stuff.

It needs a couple of things for a cert like ghey lap and diagonal seat belts (cause 5 point harnesses are safe enough??), some even gheyer "compliant" seat mounting points on the floor, a drive shaft hoop, a indicator flasher unit to run LED's, brake proportioning valve and maybe a bigger muffler (ok, definately a bigger muffler).

Its a good well built and reliable truck

Cheers mate. Im in CHCH, at uni down here but up in Wanganui in my holidays. Im into dirt biking and am the dirt bike rep for the Uni motorsport club, a good mate of mine is the 4wd rep and ive been out with hun in his 80 series and his series 2 landy bush truck and hes got me hooked. Im navigating for him on november the 25/6/7th at the winch challenge in wellington his his brothers 4age zook.
But yea sold my van and im building a trailer for my bikes and want a sammy that i can use for a daily driver / muck around

you can expect to pay 3000+ for one with live plates , but it will be rough and will have rust and need maintenance, proborby won't have a WOF
expect 6000+ for one in reasonable condition..... will still most proborbly will still have rust.

You will find em at a range of prices. The sammy i picked up a couple days ago had live tags and i paid under a grand. Needs a bit of rust patching but they usually all do. Getting em off trademe is usually more expensive than making an offer on one out of the blue.

I'm trying to locate my old one, its in Chch now to buy back.

Licence number is MYZOOK I think.

1987 White with black custom Rag top, roll cage, drainpipe snorkel, bars on the front. Had a low ratio transfer case I made in it, not sure if it still does now.

Was seen about 8 months ago and a photo take to get the cell mumber on the side of it but as luck would have it a branch obscured 3 numbers and I couldnt turn back. Didnt know until I got home anyway. The wife took the pic and said she had the number - seems she needs glasses.
