no drive in D. wd21

we bit of a problem i have no drive in drive but have drive i everything else seems a bit odd its a nissan wd21 td27t auto also have fitted a auto trans cooler last week but cant see how this would make it happen, it feels like a slipping clutch to drive in drive any ideas to fix

Not an expert in Nissan autos but a generic approach would be...
Check fluid levels...(since you played with them)
Hot, running and in N.
Should be in the HOT range on dip stick....

If you do it when engine is off, fluid drains back to sump and you think its full but its not....

Otherwise check you linkages are in the right place....
