ATM card readers are in NZ

Post by mike »

HI All,

Just a word of caution, couple of Romanians and an Italian have been stopped by customs with card readers for models of machines used in nz (westpac for instance). They are unsure if others have made it through. So look out for pin holes beside the keypad (for camera) or above, and try and remove the bit around the card (it will be held on with double sided tape). Their bit slides over the top and sticks to the outside so you should be able to pull it off easily.

bit friggen dodgy but being aware of them you should be safe.

this definitely aint a hoax, i've seen photos of them here at work.
cheers
