urgent help plz all SORTED thanks

im refitting my rear diff into my surf. prob is the left rear axle wont fit back in properly. theres 5mm between the 4 bolt flanges. axle is in spline as it turns diff. when putting pressure on it it stops the axle from turning. any ideas

is it posible the spline on axles have a different grove in on spot? cheers

no splines will be fine with only 5mm left,try lifting the hub up and wiggling side to side
1990 surf 350 chevy jacked up and currently under construction again

yeah been trying that last half hour. im stumpted as the right one went straight in

Turn the drive shaft as you push the axle in

All sorted guys. After bout doing the 100th time of trying to get it in it finally went in. who knows wat stopped it working first 99 times

Your mouth didn't have quite the right slant and your tounge was sticking out to far :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Who knows what it was, we all know that one day it will happen just the same again for no reason :roll: probably when in a hurry, bloody Murphy and his laws :evil:
Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

Lol that sounds a good enough reason why it wouldnt go in mate. I know wat to next time now to stop it happening again. :mrgreen:
