IFS Landcruiser diff - are they 8 inch?

Hi guys,

Are the IFS cruiser diffs G series (8inch)?

And does anyone know if the c/w and pinion is interchangeable with a live rear axle to get the right ratios?

Thinking about an IRS conversion for a race car and running one upside down in the rear but need the better ratios in my current live diff.
