Don't know where I should post this so here is a start.
Just a heads up for anyone that has one of these, I've had a few (3 in one day) come into work complaining about battery dying. Did a test on it and have found that the alternator is failing. Vehicle starts and with no load the alternator is only putting out 12.4Volts, with a load on it bumps it up (only to around high 13-low 14Volts) but there's a high ripple detected which also points to faulty diodes.
Sent them off to Ford and one guy came back to thank me for saving him having to buy a new battery and to say that Ford rectified the alternator problem.
