Weekend trip in Bop

Hi all, Username and i are planning a bit of a trip on sat morning 10am'ish 3rd Dec. planning on going to thompsons track (easy Side), or up whakamarama ways. please post or PM me if you interested/keen. will just be a fun trip, maybe a bit of a play, might want to bring packed lunch, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, the usual's. if you don't have those thing, no biggie.

Hey, i guys aim for a 11-11.30 start on the track, to be honest i have never been up, thus taking easy side. would be cool if you came. let us know if that suits

ah sweet, the first time is always best! what you guys driving? il be in a purple fj40 (see profile pic!) il let you know, maybe camping up there friday night not sure yet.
te aroha side is the only side you can at current. 3meter+ deep bugs on kati side at the moment, even bikes wont make it!

i got a isuzu wizard (96 model) 4jg2 motor intercooled, with 40mm suspension lift, and 31/10.5 A/T's :/ still goes off road ok tho

Should be a good trip what if we go up Thompsons i might be able to see my house from the top . i Drive a

Honda Mu jazz 2'' suspension lift , 2'' bodylift , 33'' MT's , winch and basic recovery gear , no lokka or lsd

sweet should be more than capable of a run to the top. gota hope the weather holds, not lookin that flash at this stage a. may have a few mates joining me to now.
my truck is a fj40 with chev 350 auto, 36" simex trekers, locked rear diff, pto winch, full cage, rear mount radiator + enough recovery gear to get me out of almost anything up thomos!
no camping now, work calls. will aim for 11 on sat if weather holds (enough

)

you guys with a roof will be sweet! you loose the view if it gets rainy but it might make the track a little more exciting

Nerly went down the gorge lol, not bad getting that far on AT's on 35psi... good fun though. might have to try again when its dry.
