Can anyone recommend a good alloy tig welder? (Canterbury)

As title ses can anyone recommend an alloy tig welder in christchurch? need a small bit of intercooler outlet welded back on as I Trimed it a bit much.

go and see mike at A1 radiators he is good he makes intercoolers for a living. tell him hamish sent ya :wink:

I have a guy in Chattertons rd who can sort you. Look up Jet Stream services in the ph book and ask for Miles. Tell him Westie sent ya :wink: :P

Austons alloy welding has done work for me. Cheapest when I was looking and bloodly tidy. Id never think twice going back to him. He done my stuff for 75 instead of others charging at least 170.. He on gasson st next to chase exhausts and opersite bumper shop.

go to austins m8,really good welder ,cheap, does alot of tricky stuff. :shock:

I highly recommend P.A.D. Racing, 37a Hands Rd off Birmingham drive.
Garry is an ex Air NZ aircraft engineer who has welded all sorts of tricky stuff for me over the last 15 years. his welding experience ranges from British touring car nissan cyl. head fabrication through to Trials buggy chassis, to Formula 5000 monocoques.

He is also one of the best dyno tuners in town as well. Champion success in all forms of competitive NZ motorsport.
