WTF IS THIS

ok so installing a new stereo in my truck a surf ln130 and came across these the wires run behind the 2 din box over the hand break over the steering coloum and up past the speaker and i cant folow it from there an ideas what they are?

theyl be speaker wires mate, unless someones super duper hory and wires other shit up with that wire haha

yup dash speaker is just out of photo in the bottom of the second photo the wires run up past the idling up.

is it a diesel?i hate to say it but they could be for a km clock switch meaning your trucks done a whole lot less kms then you think it has

ive put the together to see if it is that but it doesnt stop the ks or anything and i dont know about the power ill just have a look

ooooooooh bugger lol,mhm,is four wires though which is odd,whats at the other end?they could have been off a multi position switch to activate spots or somethng ike that

funny one mates 2lte manual was electric but other mates auto one year newer was cable.....
Looks like old amp wires or something?

Amp wiring can be heavy like that, have you looked under engine bay to see if it comes out anywhere? or under carpet in foot wells to see what way its heading etc

yup i found it as i was installing my sub and amp it goes in beind the speedo and i dont want to take that out to much hassel

could have been for turbo timer? maybe they have been joined into light wires from gauge cluster to illuminate gauges that were once in there? get a multi meter and do some investigating mate
