Well i was off to the barn to put the other front shock back on./ got side tracked (read: having a play) and rolled the truck on to its side in the middle of a good gravel track.. called the mrs to bring a light.. had it back on this wheels in under 5 minutes.. Turfur winch to a handy tree..

Nothing but net. now its tea time (6pm sat).. too dark to get fotos on fone unfortunatly.. will get damage pics in the morning.

some pics.. pretty crap so far. found the digi cam after i tipped it back on its feet. Gutted, real kodak moment gone begging.

Got busy with the jig-saw and a couple of bits of wood...........

rolled the junker out of the shed today and cleaned up a bit. Put all the tools up on the board, found all the parts I modified for the 8. Looked at the guards and decided pete doesnt need his new 35's and they would look much better on a LR (better chain em up)

Think I need to borrow a mig welder for the weekend

alternator packed a sad on thursday, sparky quoted me $100 to fix if i took it out and dropped it of. I got it out and just kept going cleaned it up, got some new brushes , all of $6.50 its back in and just like new. and i have diff breathers now as well . snorkel will have to be the next job.

went into h2o's for a late night session on friday night, finished gettin the springs ready for reassembly.. do somemore tomorrow night too.. as for today, went down the mak in ole rusty with a few of the ore lads and had a bit of a play.. good fun with a good group of people....

good day out, H2O scored a broken drivers window, and the mighty red surf did a cv I think, but got a couple of good shots of him climbing trees before he did!! Didnt get G.C. tho, but h2o has him on vid! A few of mike on the same trees, and ahem.... servicing the lux.....

picked up some steel on sat then started cutting/notching it for sliders, sunday morn did a bit more then met a few of the fellas at the waimak and tagged along taking photos...

Took the beast our to see how far I could push the old 1800.
Went ok till the throtle jamed wide open
Fixed that and then made a cuppa with the water comming out of the overflow bottle.
Of the other three trucks I was with 1 blew his manual hubs and now understands why he needs the upgrade, another one boiled too and the other lost his clutch.
All in all lots of fun but need to find some more challenge here in Blenheim
At least the Toyotas drove home and the nissan needed help!

worked on project datty all weekend....cant really remember what ive done but its getting closer to doin a skid....just need my driveshaft now

had an absalutely insane weekend bought new tow hooks and ruber flares o friday . then got on the piss finnished drinking 12.05 am monday morning wt a party me truck is in the shop shot alternator and injecterpump have it bak by the weekend so gunna put some time in playing hard :joker:
