Ok I'm 2 hours early, but in my defense I,m still on holiday so it,s really just one big weekend for me :D

I spent the last 2 days helping a mate on his new offroad race truck, the Kumho tyres/JRC class 8 thunder truck. Believe it or not its going to the tuners on monday for final wiring and dyno time. Hoping to get some vids of the first start. (engine is worked twin turbo vvti Lexus V8)

Image

There's a twin turbo'd V8 under here

Image

There it is

Image

Massive fuel tank, surge tank and pump.

Image

Tank from the top.

Image

My job was fitting the alloy panels seen in this shot, crash course in sheet metal work! it's actually quite fun in a workshop full of all the right tools

Image

Looking up it's bum

Image

Oh yeah, with the skin on it's a hilux

Image

Now i can spend the weekend working on my toy, Still cleaning mud off it from Mudfest

Same, one long weekend for me too. Just finished cleaning Mudfest out from under T2. Replaced a handful of bits in the front end;
Both upper control arms,
Idler pivot shaft,
idler bushes,
3 tie rod ends,
left upper ball joint,
new upper bump stops,
both front shocks,
both front wheel bearing kits,
machined bushes on modified drag link,
and finally took it for a wheel alignment.
All good to go to Woodhill for patrol and a good thrash around

As my camera died on Christmas eve, no pics. :(
Will have to borrow girl friend's camera for tomorrow :D

Cheers,

Spent the day in Woodhill sorting tracks for the 24h teams event ,Have mapped and logged 7 tracks so far each should take a team of 3 trucks at least 1 1/2 to 2 hrs to complete each stage ,changed and modified most so as locals wont have any real advantage .a couple more weekends and we should be sorted

Had my week end yesterday, pulled the radiator cleaned all the mud out of it, can't believe how bad it was, truck run's about 10 degrees cooler now.
Then did all the bushes in my leading arm's. that ate up a fair chunk of the day.
Have to start on the wiring next spare day.

Had a pretty decent weekend so far, good way to unwind before heading back to work on monday

Rodeo on friday, got burnt but had a good time.

Woodhill today to test out the new truck, went bloody well, definitely surprised me wasnt expecting it to go so well. Managed to get it a few battle scars too

No pics either as my cameras decided it has a "zoom error" and wont take any pics

no the black rubbery round things have not run out of air particals its that the air particals have relocated itself to other locations unknown to the owner.

being that air partical relocation equipment is of highly techincal expertise requirements it is only prudent that one conferrs with only the highest engineers available to ensure that one relocates air particals into the correct location, as well as ensuring that the well being of the air particals being transfurred is ensured during the complete procedure.

now if one is having major issues whilst trying to conduct the air partical transfur one should refur directly to AA as they have far more knowledge than use ordinary flock.

apon following all expert instructions that have been directed and if one is still have major difficulty then stop at once for there will be a night in shining armor awaiting to take over the said highly techincal air partical transfur mission for one has only to susgest AA and they will be there

regards servant to the underlings

Yeah you'r probably right, but I've only got 581 photos of the build and I'm not sure that would be enough to keep the pic junkies happy

Tell you what I'll be sure to post lots of his next build, that will be sure to impress  .

Met up with Mike (Scruff123) at The Farm for a bit of a play yesterday, weather was Sh#t got to do a couple of tracks but the CV went on his wagon didnt get any pics as it was to wet but had a good morning.

Then came back to my place and pulled the CVs out of the parts one for him only to find out they are different.

I think I may have broken a engine or gearbox mount while out there.

Neighbour gave me a front bar off his Hiace van which is pretty solid and I will be tinkering with that to make it fit to my bighorn (after I have done the body lift)
