winch fitment

Just a quick question-

I'm thinking of getting a winch for my terrano, and will probably build a custom front bar to suit (may be a while before I actually get time to get this done tho ) I haven't decided what winch to go for yet, but I'm thinking;

Do all winches have similar/same sizes and mounting bolt pattern/style?
Or are they all very different?

Like if a front bar was made to suit eg a warn winch, could a runva, tigerz11, superwinch or chinese cheapy etc bolt in to same mounts?

My new Ridge Rider from supercrap has the same 4 bolt pattern as my old Warn XD9000i

Oh cool. I was thinking they'd be either all way different or all pretty much the same, and its looking like they might be the same.
