Mr wof man said i need tierod ends any one know of a good place to get them in chch ?he also said i need wheel bearing adjustment whats the hell and how the hell do ya do that?

secoundly what are rough prices for tierod ends and is it a job i can do myself ?

Toyota ones lasted the longest for me, the ones I got from Repco only lasted 6months but were cheaper but not much, you will just need to tighten the wheel bearings you can use a pin punch or a 54mm socket if you have one, if you need new wheel bearing Wilson Brothers have them for about $65 a side.

wouldnt hurt to ask toyota what there prices are they have some strange list prices sometimes, the last 2 cruiser tierod sets (70 series) I've brought from them were $45 and came with both ball joints and the tierod rod..... when I say $45 that was the two balljoints and the tierod all together not $45 for each bit :P

Failing that, the guy at BNT has alreday told you to go and see him, they carry them. :wink:

brought them from bnt 28 buxs each not bad driving to the bloody wof place i blew a cv just my luck

You can't blow a cv unless it is in 4wd (or seized). If it was alreday rooted however, you may have munched all the bits together.

hopefully its just a cv boot then cause its leaking grease and splatterd it on the underside of my wheel arch

shes a ####### mission have given her a few love taps but nothing.
