Swapping a suffix c gearbox onto a "b" transfer?

whats involved with doing this? How hard is it to split the transfer and gearbox on a series? and is there anyone that could give me a hand next weekend? The old mans goin away and I need it done so the new bulkhead (when I find one) can go on.
