Which 3 or 4 inch lift springs for lj78/kzj78 prado???

Howdy guys, iv got 35 inch creepys on my prado. but rub like crazy with the 2 inch lift currently in the truck. (its ages old and sagging.) so need a new set of 3 or 4 inch lift. can get cobra's, but not really a fan, had them before, and they started to sag prematurely. what others are there? dobinsons only go up to 60/65mm. dunno bout king springs, used them to lower a car, but never on the 4wd. cant find much info on efs either.

I think the first lift springs for Prados were made in Christchurch by Chamberlains. These are red in colour. I know various people that have had them. I think like most others, you will find they sag over time.

Proper coil spring makers "sprag" their coils. I.E. After heat treatment they rapidly compress them till fully coilbound and then quickly release them on a repetitive cycle for some time. This gets the sag out of them before they are used, thus allowing them to be made the correct length to start with.

Not sure who does this. I know all valve springs have this done and I am sure factory automotive suspension coils would be as well.

Flick jammysammy a pm. Im about to pull a 3 inch lift out of the front of his Surf (prado front axle and coils) to put coilovers in.
He has coils and Raw shocks to sell which I installed only 3 months ago. They were new then.

cheers, will do that tom. getting a price 4 the 4inch cobras from repco (get lower than trade price from them, so works out cheapish.) figure i only want 3 inchs lift, but get four and a year or so down the track, they will have sagged down to 3 ish.
