Head Bolts

Post by dtchch »

Does anyone know somewhere I could get a set of new head bolts for my Suzuki?

Suzuki in Christchurch want $150 for a set of 10

Mine are ok but would like to replace them if I can do it for cheaper than $150!

Could I take them into a place which does fasteners and bolts, and see if they have anything suitable or should I just reuse the old bolts.

Pop down to BNT, cheap for head bolt kits compared to buying from dealers, I just did the head on our Holden and saved $60 by using BNT. Don't re-use, get new 8) I

Whether you should reuse the old ones depends on if they are torque-to-yield or not... TTY headbolts shouldn't be re-used.

Unfortunately I have no idea whether Zuk headbolts are TTY or not.
