Attempted Auckland theft

some piece of low life scum has had a go at the 40 in the last few days. no damage other then a bent window hinge. alarm must have gone off and scared them away.

but just a reminder to everyone to make sure alarm's are working and that doors and windows are locked.

We really don't need the scum who've been stealing trucks Christchurch coming up to Auckland!

I meant the scum who've been stealing trucks in general and who seem to have been targeting christchurch lately.
Not that's those from chirstchurch are scum. Sorry for the confusion.

Put it on axle stands. After all it hardly gets used
Make sure the battery has lots of charge and park it behind the landy, after all, who wants one of those
Cheers,

Hey mate. What I do when in busy areas when my 4x4 isn't being used is I take the battery terminals off the battery. No point steeling a vehicle when they can't get far  cheers

Then walk it off.

I think that tatoo would look good in a frame on my wall. and if I ever got the chance I would prolly give it a go.

I think pretty much across the board, everyone despises car theifs...

Unsure exactly where the pics came from...

the most efficent way to stop your vehicles going bye bye is to leave no fuel in it from what the local plod have said they tend to drive around in non descript camry's carolla's etc...i don't see one of them hauling off a 2 tonnes suv with no powersteering etc

unfortunatley in my case and for car and 4x4 enthusiasts alike i have ended up dynabolting lugs into the concrete floor and chaining the GTR to them.

four times now pricks have tried stealing it.

low life scum is right.

i put a micro switch hiden somewhere in the cab that has to be pushed at the same time as turning the key to start.

still it doesent stop them from riping out the lock barrel and towing it away.

nothing is safe anymore and it blows chunks.

my 2c

A bait truck is exactly what needs to be done.
With a tracking device in it

bugger i could have thought of alot more ways to make him never do it again, but what happened to interrogation to find out who else was doing it?

its pretty obvious that there is a group going around.

and at least they have a decent taste in car lol.

after all this i am glad i am all the way down south, glad im away from the cities.

i do think something needs to be done though, sadly because of the justice system these days ya cant.

i still cant believe that a thief is entitled to ACC if a dog bites him and draws blood, while he is trespassing and attempting to steal. and the owner of the dog has to get it put down, and then gets fined, where the F*** is the justice in that.

but enough ranting,
