Just late I found that the motor housing to the solenoid in my rear diff of my landcruiser was flooded in water. Can you rebuild them? or do I go looking for a 2nd hand one?

Rebuild it... Very rare to find parts for one without having to buy the whole diff...
There is some info on the net, google " e locker repair" or something like that and then look at the images...

Also there are kits to change them to cable....
