50 mm receiver hitch

Building a new rear bar for my 70 series cruiser - to replace old bumper smashed recceeing in the Wairarapa

Want to incorporate a 50mm receiver for a tow ball - anyone know if I can get the receiver off the shelf or has anyone got an old towbar similar to
That I can butcher

How long do you want the socket? I can provide you the bare socket, with strength ring welded on and pin - price depends on the length.
Failing that you can make one yourself - its 65mm square box, 5mm wall.

Ive got a tongue that has been welded slightly offset ie tow ball would be on a slight angle. Can have it if it will be of any use?? Got too find where I put it too

Thanks - I will ask my engineer what length - he didn't want to weld that part up

Thanks - talked to Bestbars - they won't sell the receiver

interested in looking at the tongue though - if not right could get TonyB to turn it into a snatch hook bar or maybe even
