Few Rugger questions

Ok, have a couple of questions regarding the rugger.

1.) What size is the spline on the steering column. ie, what kind of bosskit would fit one of these? Finding a rugger one seems to be quite hard.

2.)Would using a 50mm wheel spacer get in the way of the manual locking hubs in the front? Also, any pros/cons to this?

3.) This is the first TD I have owned, it wants to blow a big cloud of smoke on startup when its cold. What could be causing this?

That is all I can think of for now. Any help would be awesome!

Spacers shouldn't affect hubs. What colour is the smoke?
