Hey guys.
I'm new to all this stuff, picked up a 94 Terrano 2.7td the other day...my first 4wd.
I have some Qs regarding the tyres. Apparently it has a 1" lift, I noticed it has aftermarket springs and shocks in the rear , and is running 265/70r15 Maxxis Bravo H/T. Now I commute on my motorbike and will only be driving the terrano when it rains and on the weekends around the river beds
Id imagine the H/Ts are just not going to cut it off road?
What size MTs would you guys recommend I get?
Also what size would 265/70r15 equate to in inches, so I can use them as a comparison for what would fit?
cheers

Hey mate. the tyres you currently have are about 30's. check this link for a table

Also, With a 1" lift, you should clear 31x10.5r15. Thats what i had my terrano on, and it had no lift at all. My terrano now has 33x12.5r15 and they have faaarked my front gaurds due to rubbing, and thats with 2" suspension lift, and 2" body lift. But 31's are ideal for a casual bit of 4wding!

Re: tyre recomendations for Terrano
thanks for the reply, I have been looking for some used 31s at a reasonable price but I have come across some 32x11.5.
would these fit? dont really want any scrapping issues but they are a good price.

Stick with the 31's, you will have all sorts of issues with rubbing if you go 32's

Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.
