Hi guys, going to be showing my truck a bit of love when I come back to NZ for a 'holiday', and thought while it is very easliy accessible I'd tinker with the motor slightly. Just after opinions on what I should do. Don't want to do a full rebuild, just a freshen up, new bearings?, seals etc. frost plugs? Oil has got a petrol smell to it as well which I'd like to sort out.
Thanks in advance

I just brought a new stage 4 (drag) memcal for my 5l vp. Haven't used it yet but supposed to give around 20% power but you will probably use 20% more fuel (trailer rig so doesnt matter) it uses the Hsv tune. They are surprisingly cheap on trademe at the moment.

Wouldn't bother if I were you. Got a stage 3 for mine and all it did was take away some top end power. Was a waste of money for me, hopefully a better result for you.
