Extended brake lines for toyota surf

Post by penetrator »

Well went for a WOF today and got a small list of things to fix ie: water in headlights and steering idler bushes but the mechanic also said that I should look at extensding my brake lines - I have put 50mm lift springs and rancho 5000 shocks in the rear and he said that even just lifting it up on the hoist they looked like they were under pressure with the longer shocks.

Has anyone here had the same problem when lifting there surf and if so can you get kits to extend the brake lines?

The lift has made a huge difference in articulation though - when i get $3500 I might have to pay you a visit in chch and get the front end to do the same steve

We've got front http://www.4wdbits.co.nz/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=711 and rear http://www.4wdbits.co.nz/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=712 for Hilux/Surf, don't know what model you have though.
