sj410 problem

hey took ute out for test run yesterday and after a while found fuel in airfilter. not sure if its the electric fuel pump or carby? any help would be good. ran a bit better with filter off. heres a pic of truck anyway

Sounds like the float in the carby may have jammed open, causing excess fuel to enter the intake? Do you know what psi the electric pump is rated at? Maybe try cleaning the carby out and see if that fixes things.

Nice ute. What engine is in it? Is it street legal? Any mods planned?.... Gee I'm nosey

i have rebuilt most of the ute.( with help from mates) rebuilt deck so it lifts up with gas shocks and has bbq and intergrated sink in back. will write a bit more and pics when i have a bit more time. thanks for your help!
